PHARMACY BONANNO

Pharmacy Bonanno is equipped with a Pharmathek automated warehouse.

Since the robot can be customized both technically and aesthetically, Doctor Bonanno decided to enrich the walls of the robot with glass panels in order to make the multiple shelves visible from the outside. On the shelves there are thousands of references ordered by a particular algorithm written with the aim to optimize storage capacity.

Inside the robot, a customized green lighting system emphasises the presence of the Euclid3D mechanical gripper.

THE PHARMACIST’S FEEDBACK

Doctor Bonanno, why did you automate your pharmacy?

We chose to automate the pharmacy because we felt that pharmacists should spend more time at the counter with the clients. Automation seemed to us the most useful and concrete tool to achieve this goal.

What led you to rely on Pharmathek for the automation of your pharmacy?

We chose Pharmathek after a careful analysis of the various players on the market, because it was the company that best responded to our needs. Both technically, speaking about robot performance, and for its integration with the pharmacy’s management system.

We are really satisfied.

What are the main advantages of the robot?

The main advantages we found from installing the robot are certainly the extra time it gave us at the counter, exceeding expectations, and the very careful and precise management of warehouse stocks.

I would absolutely not renounce to automation as drawers have serious limits compared to the robot that, until we started to use the robot, we were not able to see.
