Farvima Medicinali SpA is one of the main Italian players in the intermediate distribution of pharmaceutical, para-pharmaceutical and related products. The Company, for its Milan plant, expressed the need to improve:

• The set-up times of individual orders;
• The spaces inside the plant;
• The storage time;
• The resource management.

To meet these needs, the Pharmathek team designed a fully integrated customized solution to existing systems at the plant. The goal was to simplify and speed up operations as much as possible, relying on logistics automation to achieve higher performance.

The results achieved thanks to the new technology exceeded expectations, allowing Farvima SpA to optimize processes on the one hand and to increase the number of references managed on the other.
