Doctor Brivio, why did you decide to automate your pharmacy?

The decision to automate the pharmacy is related to the importance of warehouse management. Nowadays it is necessary to have very accurate inventory management and I think automation is key to achieve this goal.

 

What led you to rely on Pharmathek for the automation of your pharmacy?

When my collaborators and I became aware of the importance of automating the warehouse, we evaluated the solutions on the market and found out that Sintesi by Pharmathek was the one that best suited our needs. We also appreciated that the robot is really easy to use. Even the staff members who are not very familiar with the new technologies have learnt how to use the robot properly.

Furthermore, by automating and renovating the pharmacy at the same time, we were able to benefit from the advantages of an integrated project.

 

What has changed since the installation of the robot?

First of all, the workflow has improved. Thanks to automation, we now have more time to dedicate to customers. And this is certainly the most important aspect.

But there are numerous other advantages. These include precision: the robot reduces errors and allows us to have the situation of the stock under control, to keep expiring dates monitored, to better manage stocks in terms of numbers, references and economic volume.
