THE PHARMACIST’S FEEDBACK

Doctor Fontanaist, what led you to decide to automate your pharmacy?

Initially I did not intend to install a pharmacy robot because I thought I would need more space on the pharmacy level or a basement. I was wrong: the robot did not need any additional space but on the contrary it allowed me to recover space, between 10 and 15 square meters! This has allowed us to completely revolutionize the spaces of the pharmacy.

What do you think of the result?

The robot is a really useful and practical tool: it allows us to work in very comfortable conditions.

How did customers react to the robot?

Initially with surprise, then replaced by interest: the installation of the robot gave to our pharmacy a modern and highly technological image.

After all, I too sometimes look inside the robot and watch the mechanical gripper as it moves from shelf to shelf. It is always so enchanting!

How has pharmacy management changed with the robot?

For the better: now we no longer waste time placing products in drawers. These are activities that do not provide added value.

The robot allows us to remain at the counter for the entire period of the service, always in contact with the customer without ever leaving him.
