Doctor Clement, why did you automate your pharmacy?
We decided to automate our pharmacy to optimize work and time, eliminating the most “boring” tasks that less valued the pharmacist’s professionalism. That is the warehouse tasks, such as taking the products from the chest of drawers and managing returns and expired items.
What led you to rely on Pharmathek for the automation of your pharmacy?
After comparing different automated warehouse systems, we decided that the solution proposed by Pharmathek was the one the most suited our needs.
In particular, we appreciated the functions of Euclid3D which, provided with a temporary deposit, allows you to fulfil multiple orders in a single journey with extreme speed and precision.
In addition to the efficiency of the robot, the ease of use of its management software was also taken into account.
Also, speaking as an IT expert, I appreciated the virtualization of products made possible by the software, which allows you to have a clear idea of the situation of the warehouse and the localization of products.
How has the work changed after the installation of the automated warehouse?
The work has certainly changed for the better. Now both the work and the spaces are better organized and more functional. Both my collaborators and I are able to work much faster at the counter, thus increasing the satisfaction of our customers.
Furthermore, the installation of the automated warehouse allowed us to free up a lot of space to dedicate now to the display of over-the-counter products, in which we invest a lot as a pharmacy.
