The Pharmacy Ferigo in Corvara (north of Italy) is the second pharmacy owned by the homonymous family that has been taking care of the health of its community in the heart of the Dolomites mountains since 1958.
Both pharmacies have a Pharmathek robotic warehouse which optimize warehouse management.
The configuration adopted for this location differs from the previous one because it features some by elegant glass panels that allow the customers to see the mechanical gripper at work.

THE PHARMACIST’S FEEDBACK
The decision to automate the pharmacy warehouse arose from the need to optimize the various logistical processes in terms of time and work. In fact, the robot has allowed us to eliminate the most boring and low-value-added tasks such as continuously moving the products back and forth, checking returns and expiry dates and so on.
Several factors including the speed and accuracy of the robot and the ease of use of the robot. In fact, since people have different levels of confidence with technology, it was essential for me that all collaborators, even the less technology-savvy, were able to use the robot without problems.
Furthermore, the fact that Pharmathek belonged to the Th.Kohl Group, leader in pharmacy interior design, allowed us to entrust the entire renovation-automation project to a single supplier, with consequent benefits in terms of efficiency and results.
Surely the fact that we can work better and faster, all to the advantage of the satisfaction of our customers. Furthermore, we must not underestimate the amount of space that the robotic warehouse has allowed us to recover and to dedicate to the sales area.
