Doctor Mainardi, what led you to decide to automate the warehouse of your pharmacy?
We began to evaluate the idea of robotising our pharmacy when renovating the funriture as we knew that the installation of an automated warehouse would allow us to recover useful space to dedicate to the sales area.
In addition to this, we were interested in the many benefits it would bring to the pharmacy’s management.

What are the most appreciated advantages you have found from installing the robot?
One of the most appreciated advantages is certainly linked to the storage of products. Thanks to the automatic loader, placing the goods in the warehouse is now much easier and faster. Not to mention the management of products and related data: now we have a high degree of control over expiration dates and we are sure of whether or not a product is in stock.
How did the customers react to the insertion of the robotic warehouse?
Customers showed great curiosity at the beginning, to the point that many asked us to go and see how the mechanical gripper moved inside the robot.
Certainly its installation allowed to give an even more positive image to the pharmacy.

Definitely yes.
The robot met our expectations and we got on well with the company also from the point of view of relations, both with the technicians who carried out the installation and held the course and with the Area Manager who looked after the whole process.
