Pharmacy Marceau (in French, Pharmacie Marceau) is equipped with a Pharmathek robot.

Doctor Mignon decided to install a robotic warehouse to increase the sales area. In fact, as the pharmacy is very small, the choice to install the robot in the basement made it possible to recover a lot of space for displaying products and for offering more services. The products are brought to the counter via microlifts, that are small lifts for medicines.

Pharmacy Marceau, located in Paris, is one of the many French pharmacies that have chosen Pharmathek for warehouse automation.

Doctor Mignon, what led you to robotize your pharmacy?

We decided to install a robotic warehouse because my pharmacy has very limited spaces and its installation has allowed me to recover a lot of surface to dedicate to the sales area.

 

Did you get any other benefits?

Certainly. In addition to saving space, the robot allows us to save time as we no longer have to waste our competences in activities with low added value such as placing the packages inside the drawer units.

But above all, the robot allows us to dedicate more time to the customer, to always remain at the counter with him, to highlight the importance of our consultative role.
