Doctor Swierczynski, what led you to automate your pharmacy?
I decided to install an automated warehouse for its numerous advantages, linked both to warehouse management and to the new and better way of interact with customer.
Another advantage I took into consideration is the perception my customers would have of my pharmacy: modern and in step with the times.
What led you to decide to rely on Pharmathek for the automation of your pharmacy?
I chose Pharmathek because, after comparing the characteristics of different solutions/suppliers, I found that the Pharmathek robot was the best system on the market and the most suitable for my needs.
What has changed in the pharmacy since the installation of the robot?
My team and I initially feared about how the robot would have change our workflow. But it was a fear easily overcome: in a short time, both my collaborators and I became familiar with the robot and now it is 100% part of our work system.
Furthermore, the assistance service is really fast and efficient, which allows us to feel even more at ease.
Your robot is clearly visible. What is the reason behind this decision?
The fact of placing the robot in a clearly identifiable place was my own choice. Many of my colleagues prefer to place the robot in the back office, but on the contrary I wanted it in the centre of my pharmacy, clearly visible and aesthetically pleasing. This is why we have decided to aesthetically customize it with glossy white panels and with crystal walls from which customers can see the shelves.
The customer is therefore fascinated by the presence of the robot. The technology that brings the products from the warehouse to the counter helps improving the atmosphere and the suspense.
I am therefore convinced that the idea of putting the robot in the foreground was a winning idea, both for the image of the pharmacy and for the astonishment that its presence generates in the customer.
